This post does have some good points, as well as inform people of the need to always have a first aid kit in case of emergency. The post correctly notes that most first aid kits have the supplies necessary to treat minor injuries only. I can't help wonder why 95% of the first aid kits available on the market do not include sutures/suture removers? I would be interested in finding out where one could find a 'complete' first aid kit.

This post is really interesting and has some great points. I especially liked reading about what it takes to be prepared for an emergency. There is actually an extremely helpful webinar that shares a few points with this post but goes a lot deeper into more issues on emergency preparation.
